Filipino Cultural Society

Description:

The purpose of the Filipino Cultural Society as a social organization is to create a network of Filipinos on the Tufts campus, to open the lines of communication with Filipino clubs at other schools, and finally, to create cultural awareness in the Filipino community in greater Boston, Asian American community, and the Tufts community. The Filipino Cultural Society also works with the different Filipino clubs in the greater Boston area to promote and educate the community about Filipino Culture and History. The Filipino Cultural Society collaborates with other groups campus-based groups on activities relating to issues pertinent to the interests of the Tufts Filipino Cultural Society.
